M V Balagiri - Chairman & Managing Director

A Man with a dexterous mind, Iron – willed determination and Generous Heart- Mr. M V Balagiri; these three terms also describe the life journey of our man. Born in 1955, Mumbai to a family of bankers; he started his journey as a sales manager and never looked back. So convinced were his bosses with his selling skills that they promoted him from employee to a self employed core dealer; and here was a shift from a 350 rupees salaried job to a 1 Cr contract, purely on the basis of talent, hard work and honesty.

What followed was a roller-coaster ride of ups and downs, and this man has seen it all. But with his firm belief in the Almighty and the Prayers of his parents, he has sailed through all tides and emerged victorious.

The turning point of his life came when he associated himself eith the production of the the national Award winning film “Vaastav” which marked his foray into the world of Entertainment Industry.

In 1999, He started his dream Company “Sidhesh films” and in 2004 he launched “Sidhesh Enterprises” and “sidhesh Films Private Limited”; which houses a large body of work including production of films like one two three, Kannada film ‘Hoo Anthiya Ahoo Anthiya’, Ksse Phyhaar Karoon’ and many more. With his rich experience in entertainment industry Mr. Balagiri as Chairman and Managing Director of GV Films is going to take GV Films to a greater height in days to come.

A. Venkataramani - Director

• A commerce graduate, promoted Kaashyap Radiant Systems Ltd and is its Chairman & Managing Director.
• Having been part of the leading corporates in the country for over two decades he played a major role in team building and growth of the respective organizations
• Marketing and people management is his forte.
• Has been in the media business having produced several teleserials and movies.
• His expertise and acumen will help the Company to grow manifold.

P. Raghuraman

• A graduate in commerce.
• Prior to joining he was the Director in Oneworld Media Network Infotainment Ltd,Chennai.
• Has experience over five years in handling administration, operation, HR and Finance.

A Prakash Chandra Hedge - Independent Director

A retired General Manager Vijaya bank a public sector bank, having experience of over 39 years in the banking field. As General Manager of the Bank he was heading Mumbai Region one of the prestigious region of the bank and was heading banks retail credit Department at head office Bangalore as General Manager prior to his superannuation.

He is the recipient of many awards during his various assignments in the bank, the latest one being the ‘Best Region’ of the bank in Metro category received during the year 2009.

During his service for the Bank Mr. Hegde has served the bank in nook and corner of the country and participated in overseas training in banking issues conducted by Asian Institute of Management at Manilla Philippine, Euro money training of UK in London, besides RBI and other renowned domestic financial institutions. As an Independent Director (Additional Director) of the Company with effect from 29th Jan 2010, GV is enriched through his vast experience in Banking and Finance.
